Hooks & Lines: A Summer Writing Workshop Series is a unique partnership between Carteret Writers and Carteret Community College, designed to cultivate creative expression and inspire writers of all experiences and backgrounds in our community.  These hands-on workshops are an opportunity to explore diverse writing techniques and topics, connect with other local writers, and cultivate your creative passion. In the second workshop, Edgar-nominated author Thomas Kies shows you how to transform real world experiences into engaging fiction while exploring the power of storytelling to connect with readers on an emotional level.
