Creative Kinship is a four-class creative writing workshop designed to help writers mine their literary influences for inspiration in their writing. Through shared exploration of words, phrases, texts, archetypes, role models, and other intuitive artistic impulses, participants will discover how their unique creative DNA shapes their writing voice and style. Engaging in discussions and activities, students will uncover the hidden threads that connect them to their influences and learn how to translate those influences into their own original work.

Creative Kinship will be held on Monday evenings from October 16 through November 6. The price for the four two-hour classes is $58 total, and you can register using Instant Enrollment online, by calling CCC’s Life Enrichment department at 252-222-6200, or by emailing boneyh@carteret.edu.

The location of this class is to be decided.
